Author and columnist Chas Newkey-Burden has written about a range of animal rights issues for The Guardian, Daily Telegraph, Independent, Attitude and International Business Times. His articles include exposes of dairy and egg farming, campaigning articles about fur and horse racing, and columns about trophy hunting and slaughterhouses. He has also written lifestyle pieces about life as a vegan. Chas writes about football, running and celebrity for dozens of outlets. He is launching a vegan podcast in 2018. His latest book published by Bloomsbury, is called Running: Cheaper Than Therapy. He ran the Windsor Half Marathon to raise funds for the Retreat Animal Sanctuary in Ashford, Kent.
