The Art of Compassion Exhibition is back at VegfestUK Brighton 2018

10th January 2018

After a successful exhibition at VegfestUK London 2017, The Art of Compassion Exhibition is back at VegfestUK Brighton on both days March 24th 25th 2018 at the Brighton Centre.

The Art of Compassion Project is an international art collective involving vegan artists from all around the world.  They aim to raise funds through various art projects and donate 100% of the profits to (small and large) vegan non-profit organizations.  So far they have raised money for Veganuary (UK), Hillside Animal Sanctuary (UK), Barefoot Vegan Farm & Animal Sanctuary (France), Viva! (UK) and River’s Wish Animal Sanctuary (UK) and A Well-Fed World (USA).

The proceeds from the sale of the vegan art posters on exhibition at VegFestUK Brighton (March 24th 25th 2018) will be donated to Anonymous for the Voiceless.

All the artists are vegan and there is a wonderful sense of community among the over 100 vegan artists, who use their work as a form of activism and self-expression.

The Art of Compassion Project has an online auction running from the 21 January to the 11 February and all proceeds are in aid of A Well-Fed World.  Their 2018 calendar, also in aid of A Well-Fed World, is currently on sale here. Past projects have included calendars, dining-out cards, a crowdfunding campaign, online art auction, downloadable colouring-in book as well as art exhibitions at VeggieWorld expos in London, Paris, Barcelona and Munich and VegFest London. They have partnered with TACN to exhibit in various venues in Shanghai and Beijing, China.

There are some exciting projects in the pipeline this year including a vegan art exhibition in Parma, Italy and their long-awaited vegan art book which will be available on Amazon from June 2018 (in aid of Veganuary).
