Quote from the organisers

“We literally can’t wait for May to arrive,” added the organisers, “and it’s not only the top-class facilities of this exquisite venue that leave us purring, but also the hugely positive feedback that we have received so far on our move into Ashton Gate stadium. As many of our followers and supporters know, our Bristol event is one of the UK’s longest-running vegan event, stretching all the way back to 2003, and has traditionally been a hybrid of vegan information and outdoor carnival. Even though we are moving indoors in 2018, the new Bristol event will not lose the outdoor elements – if anything, we are replicating a similar formula for the success of our previous Bristol events, with a daytime element running until 6pm each day focusing more on vegan education, and an evening section after 6pm packed full of entertainment.

The organisers continue, “Throughout the weekend, there will be an outdoor village housing a number of street food caterers, traders and musical stages. In the meantime, the indoor component undergoes a significant makeover with talks, shopping and seating areas during the day, followed by comedy, magicians and other entertainment in the evenings. Visitors will also enjoy the addition of an in-house restaurant and a pizzeria / bar all serving 100% vegan options, plus Hospitality Lounges on a separate level which are unprecedented at vegan events as far as we know. We really look forward to welcoming everybody at this marvellous setup for our new edition of VegfestUK Bristol.”

The organisers also extend huge thanks to the sponsors Bute Island Foods, Out of Hand and Yaoh.
