VegfestUK manager Tim Barford reveals to Ujima Radio 98fm listeners live on air, some of the captivating headliners confirmed for the upcoming Bristol event on May 26-27 at Ashton Gate stadium.
Invited onto Ujima Radio on Friday March 9th 2018 by host Julz Davis, Tim started by explaining what Vegfest is all about to everyone, what inspired it in the first place, and why the long-running Bristol event is moving to Ashton Gate this year.
Tim and Julz then announced on air the two headliners for the Ujima Live Acts Stage at Vegfest– namely Dr. Meaker on the Saturday and Don Letts DJ Set on the Sunday, alongside news of a Ujima Talent competition voted for by the listeners for up-and-coming acts to win themselves a slot on the Stage.
Tim also mentioned a few of the special guests confirmed at the show, including vegan kickboxer Omowale Adewale from Brooklyn, New York City, who is organising his own Black Vegfest in NYC in August 2018.
