Plenty of vegan goodies await at Veganuary party at VegfestUK Brighton 2018

21st March 2018

VegfestUK is celebrating the success of the Veganuary campaign in 2018 with a special Veganuary “Class of 2018” reunion party at the upcoming Brighton event on Sunday March 25th 2018 at the Brighton Centre.

More about the Veganuary party

Taking place between 1:30 – 3:30pm in the Stage area in the Main Foyer on G/F of the venue, the party will consist of mingling, food and drinks, games and speeches for up to 200 people who have registered to attend in advance (party is not open to the general public). Whilst the lovely Veganuary team will have in store a selection of vegan-themed games, inflatables, photo frames and an assortment of snacks for participants, the VegfestUK organisers are delighted to announce the selection of treats lined up so far, and they would like to extend big thanks to all the contributors involved in this blog post.

Food and Drinks selection so far

Thanks to the following companies, we have got a string of vegan goodies lying in wait for the lucky participants who have registered to attend the party:

They produce award-winning cold-pressed superfood snack bars: Goji Goodness, Raw Cacao, Ginger Teatox, Apple Pie, Salted Caramel, Orange Cacao and Peanut Protein.

Creative Nature will be donating to the party a selection of their superfood snack bars.

Matcha NOW will be donating to the party: 24 bottles of their uplifting matcha.

Moo Free Chocolates

Moo Free is a manufacturer of free-form and vegan chocolates. All of Moo Free’s products are made with their special recipe that ensures that their products really do taste like quality “milk” chocolate, but are made without any milk. In addition, all of their products are produced in special dairy free, gluten free and soya free clean rooms. This ensures that none of their products contains even a trace of milk, gluten or soya.

Moo Free Chocolates will be donating to the party: 100 bags of their chocolate.

In Pudology’s words, “We really do travel the globe in search of the perfect blend of ingredients – Indonesian Coconut; Madagascan Vanilla; Belgian Chocolate; Brazilian Orange Oil & Sicilian Lemon Oil… But it’s what we don’t put into our Clever Little Treats that makes them so delicious – NO gluten, dairy, nuts or egg. The result? Pure Pudology!”

Pudology will be donating a small selection of their puds to the party.

Rosina Makes

Rosina Makes is a family business that has been making vegan cakes and bakes, without gluten, due to two of their family members not being able to eat gluten, dairy, milk, and other ingredients. They are constantly inventing new recipes, always in search of perfection.

Rosina Makes are making a number of Veganuary-branded vegan cupcakes for participants of the party.

Slab Artisan Vegan Fudge

Slab Artisan Fudge differs from mass-produced fudge in that it is made lovingly by hand in small batches. The result? A unique fudge with a distinctive flavour and texture – creamy, rich and unctuous. From the indulgent Sea Salted Caramel and Death By Chocolate to the beautifully fruity Raspberry & White Chocolate and Lemon Meringue, all twelve fudge flavours are cooked by hand on the stove-top by their passionate artisan fudge-maker.

Slab Artisan Fudge will be donating 20 slabs of their fudge to the party.

TheVegWays is the first, and currently only, company in the UK that sources and sells exclusively Italian vegan products. Proud to deliver the finest wine ‘n’ food to environmentally-conscious epicureans, all of TheVegWays’ products have been ethically made and are 100% sustainable, organic, and vegan.

Success of Veganuary in 2018

The Veganuary team have had a sterling campaign in January 2018 with a record number of signups for their annual initiative for everybody to be vegan during the month of January and stay vegan afterwards – their survey also revealed that 62% of Veganuary participants in 2018 have pledged to stay vegan after January 2018, so huge congratulations to Veganuary for all their hard work and inspiring campaign for changing the lifestyles of many (human and non-human) on the planet.
