The Art of Compassion Exhibition is back with VegfestUK at Ashton Gate stadium on May 26-27

10th April 2018

After their successful exhibitions at the last 2 VegfestUK events in London and Brighton, the Art of Compassion Project brings their popular vegan art exhibition to VegfestUK Bristol 2018 on May 26-27 at Ashton Gate stadium. They will be displaying and selling a number of art pieces from various vegan artists at the event to raise funds for the League Against Cruel Sports.

The Art of Compassion Project is an international art collective involving more than 120 vegan artists from all around the world.  They aim to raise funds through various art projects and donate 100% of the profits to (small and large) vegan non-profit organizations.  So far they have raised money for Veganuary (UK), Hillside Animal Sanctuary (UK), Barefoot Vegan Farm & Animal Sanctuary (France), Viva! (UK) and River’s Wish Animal Sanctuary (UK), Anonymous for the Voiceless (UK) and A Well-Fed World (USA).

The proceeds from the sale of the 50 vegan art posters on exhibition at VegFestUK Bristol will be donated to the League Against Cruel Sports.

The Art of Compassion Project will be running an online ‘pet portrait’ auction from the 22nd April to the 1st June.  Past projects have included calendars, dining-out cards, a crowdfunding campaign, online art auction, downloadable colouring-in book as well as art exhibitions at VeggieWorld expos in London, Paris, Barcelona and Munich and VegFest expos in London and Brighton. They have partnered with TACN to exhibit in various venues in Shanghai and Beijing, China.

There are some exciting projects in the pipeline this year including a vegan art exhibition in Parma, Italy and their long-awaited vegan art book which will be available on Amazon from 1 June 2018 (in aid of Veganuary).  If YOU are vegan, an artist and would like to use your art to promote veganism please get in touch!
