Talks on veganism from a social justice perspective at VegfestUK London 2018

7th September 2018

Is being vegan just a diet, just a lifestyle choice, or more than that? A number of vegan speakers will be exploring this subject in their talks at VegfestUK London on October 27-28 at Olympia London, with a range of topics aiming to showcase veganism from the perspective of not using other animals as a form of social justice which includes other animals. From representing the full scope of veganism in the media, to deepening our understanding of veganism, these talks will put the spotlight on the justice element of being vegan.

Topics on spreading the vegan word will also be covered, including achieving animal liberation, living vegan in a non-vegan world, aiming for tangible changes in the political sphere amongst other subjects, with mentions of inclusiveness for activists of all backgrounds and what lessons one can learn from other social justice movements.
