Plant-based Health Professionals UK to host health talks at VegfestUK Brighton 2019

11th December 2018

VegfestUK – organisers of some of the UK’s largest vegan events – are thrilled to announce a new partnership with Plant-Based Health Professionals UK, who will be selecting and hosting a team of expert speakers on topics surrounding plant-based health and nutrition at the upcoming Brighton event on March 23rd 24th 2019 at the Brighton Centre.

Plant-Based Health Professionals UK is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the promotion of plant-based nutrition and other lifestyle interventions for optimal health and well-being. In addition, to practising conventional medicine, they are passionate about promoting health and well-being through lifestyle interventions, including plant-based nutrition, physical exercise and stress management.

Dr. Shireen Kassam, founder and director of Plant-Based Health Professionals UK, added, “We are delighted to have partnered with VegFestUK to bring high-quality education and information on health and nutrition to Brighton Vegfest. The power of a predominately plant-based diet for prevention and reversal of chronic disease is often underestimated by medical professionals and the general public, yet has the potential to transform the health and lives of individuals and the nation. This event will give us the opportunity to share the latest science on health and nutrition and dissect the facts from the fiction within a friendly and open environment.”

The VegfestUK organisers added, “We’re very happy to partner up with Plant-Based Health Professionals UK in bringing an up-to-date, evidence-led, science-based programme of talks on plant-based health and nutrition to VegfestUK Brighton visitors in 2019. Plant-Based Health Professionals have got all the expertise and experience in this area, and we couldn’t wait to work with them and look forward to seeing the topics and expert speakers that they bring to the show.”
