Healthy eating is near the top of the agenda for many families right now, with parents striving to offer their kids the best diets possible and steer them towards a future based on fruits, vegetables, nuts, legumes, seeds and other wholefoods. The upcoming vegan festival VegfestUK Brighton hosts a kids area where the little ones can learn about the virtues of eating healthily and making their own health foods in a party atmosphere. And with kids under 16 getting free entry (as long as they are accompanied by adults), families with children have plenty of incentives to get their little ones to come along.
The Kids Area will be hosted by a pair of kids entertainers in Captain James Tea Cook – Pirate of the Carob Bean on Saturday, and Mad (Veggie) Hatter on Sunday.
Both characters share 5 fundamental rules for health:
The world’s most famous vegan pirate Captain James Tea Cook Pirate of the Carob Bean and his lesser spotted great crested fluff bottomed Parrot called Yaoh offers scallywags and little scoundrels his easy peasy ships cook healthy cooking secrets.
Also featuring the VegfestUK blendabike/smoothie bike.
