Inaugural plant-based lifestyle event Plant Powered Expo got off to a good start at Olympia London

The inaugural plant-based lifestyle show Plant Powered Expo drew to a fine conclusion, with 7,500 attendees enjoying the best of plant-based living under one roof at Olympia National over the weekend Feb 1-2 right after Veganuary.

Housing 12 different features and nearing 150 exhibitors in total, Plant Powered Expo included not only a fine selection of plant-based food and drinks but also a plethora of shopping options as diverse as clothing, bodycare, footwear, superfoods, supplements, houseware and many more.

International Cuisine Cookery Classes – showcasing a variety of multicultural plant-based dishes from around the world

Artisan Food Creative Classes, demonstrating the makings of a number of artisan plant-based foods

Eazy Vegan Kitchen, featuring a selection of fast and easy plant-based dishes, from healthier foods to fast food options

Plant Powered Fit for Life stage, with a number of celebrities, athletes and influencers in the plant-based community gathering for panel discussions

Plant Powered Excellence Awards, with 5 categories of the latest plant-based products, and a showcase of the entries during the show, with winners announced on the Sunday

Plant Powered Health, with a couple of 1 day summits hosted by Plant Based Health Professionals and Foods for Life, looking at the latest research surrounding plant-based health

Plant Powered Planet, looking at plant-based solutions to climate change, hosted by The Vegan Society on Saturday and Vegan Organic Network on Sunday

Plant Powered Lifestyle, looking at a collection of everyday topics in relation to plant-based living

The Art of Compassion Project exhibition, with a display of art posters dedicated to plant-based living, and  proceeds going to Little Oak Farm Animal Sanctuary in Australia

The organisers added, “We’re all delighted to see Plant Powered Expo getting off to a good start. First set up as an outreach event for plant-based curious, Veganuary participants and new vegans, Plant Powered Expo aimed to deliver a pleasant experience with a plethora of activities under one roof and leave a lasting impression for those looking to go plant-based. We can’t extend enough thanks to everyone who visited the show as well as those who contributed to the magic over the weekend, including all our exhibitors, caterers, speakers, performers, hosts, venue staff, contractors, and of course our organising team and volunteers.”

Upcoming events

The organisers now move onto their well established vegan Consumer show VegfestUK London on November 14th 15th 2020 at Olympia Grand. The website for the event will be live in late-February 2020, with tickets going on sale in the summer.
