The first announcement of many scheduled between now and VegfestUK Online January 2021 at the end of this month (30th & 31st) is that everyone’s favourite vegan Belgian Pastry Chef Danielle Maupertuis will be joining us on Saturday 30th January with a LIVE pastry dessert demo entitled:
‘Valentine’s Dessert: I Give You My Heart’.
‘One will offer a chocolate heart -chocolate mousse with a crispy filling and a chocolate sponge – to their beloved. Their partner will propose a strawberry heart – strawberry mousse, strawberry and rose jelly, Victoria sponge – to their cherished.’
Scheduled for 2pm GMT on the Saturday of VegfestUK Online January 2021, this is a must-see for anyone thinking about getting into home cooking and dessert making during this, the third national lockdown in the UK.
For those of you who don’t know who Danielle Maupertuis is, Danielle is an award-winning Belgian pastry chef who offers Udemy courses for beginners, 1-to-1 classes, and new themed courses (Valentine’s, Easter etc.) for Chefs and Foodies. She regularly attends VegfestUK’s live events and has done for many years, and very excitingly for us all is now an author of the cookbook ‘Vegans Deserve Better Than A Fruit Salad‘, which you can get your hands on by visiting Olympia Publishers here.
You can follow Danielle’s YouTube channel, which began during lockdown to help kids learn how to make delicious vegan desserts. We will be featuring a couple of of these demonstrations as part of VegfestUK Online January 2021, so keep an eye on the Presentations section of the vegfest.co.uk website for those and many other instructional videos & cookery demos, talks, panels & entertainment.
Danielle also joined us in December on Series 2 Episode 2 of VegfestUK Chat:
