Lalla Wandavi is a Nottingham-based business creating quality, ethical and locally-made vegan knitwear.
Animal welfare and sustainability are key brand values. The sole use of plastic-free, plant-based yarns means that Lalla Wandavi jumpers and scarves are cruelty-free, biodegradable and do not shed plastic microfibres into the environment each time they are washed. We use bamboo, linen and organic cotton yarns.
Our high-end garments are exclusively designed and manufactured in the UK. We produce in small batches and our knitwear is fully-fashioned to prevent yarn waste in the production process.
Our garments are designed to be unisex as we see ourselves as a “gender free” brand. The garments flow naturally on the body, regardless of gender. We design knitwear to give people the power to express themselves through their own sense of style and their sensibility towards the environment.
Our garments are designed to last. These are not items of clothing to be worn once and discarded, these are garments to keep for a lifetime, to share memories with.
Our latest collection called The Woodland Wonder features gilets and round neck jumpers knitted using a fine blend of hand-dyed bamboo and organic cotton yarns. Because of the unpredictable process used for hand-dyeing, the garments are completely unique pieces.
The collection is inspired by the oak tree bark, the moorland and birds’ feathers. It represents the strong connection between human beings and mother nature.
