Plant Based Treaty, fresh from multiple successes including seeing Edinburgh Council endorse the Treaty earlier this year and commit to a plant-based future, are coming to VegfestUK Brighton this spring at The Brighton Centre for a day long programme of talks and panels and presentations. A number of individuals from the organisation will be presenting at the event and covering a range of their campaigns and focuses across the globe as the Treaty work towards local Government, Corporations, and especially Institutions commit to effective and recognisable change to plant-based food systems.

The PBT will also be in full effect in the Main Hall at the event with a large stand and opportunities to sign petitions and find out more about the campaigns, along with a range of merchandise and other fundraisers, and added to this they are sponsoring the event in whole and helping ensure that people can attend for free and enjoy the many benefits of plant based lifestyles first hand.

The day long sessions take place on Saturday April 29th before a Sunday ‘Sustainable Futures’ programme of talks in the same room, with an excellent line-up in place including speakers from Viva!, Vegan Organic Network, Vegan Accountants, Plant Based Unis Team and Vegan Compassion Group. Line-ups and Speakers for the Plant Based Treaty Saturday sessions to be announced in March.

“The impact of the Plant Based Treaty over the last 18 months since their inception has been nothing short of stupendous” add the VegfestUK organisers “with actions in countries across the globe, numerous MP’s and Councillors endorsing the Treaty, and blueprints ready to roll out to help transform institutions such as Hospitals, Universities and Prisons. The potential for a whole swathe of middle management and local government, corporations and individuals – and ultimately central and global governments – to switch to plant-based food systems is within reach, tangible and possible in a relatively short space of time. We are thrilled to be collaborating closely with such a highly achieving outfit.”
