Vegfest returns to Brighton April 29th 30th with over 70 talks, performances and presentations over the weekend, with admission free to the public. Here’s 10 to keep an eye out for- and you can view all our speakers and entertainers right here!

 


Vanessa Sturman
Intro to Plant Based Lifestyles (both days)

If you are new to the whole concept of plant-based diets, or just getting started on your vegan journey, then Vanessa is your best pal – and best kept secret at Vegfest. Well, hardly a secret as she hosts a whole area dedicated to introducing people to the benefits of plant-based lifestyles. She delivers her intro talk both days in a supportive and informative but informal fashion.

‘How to Heal Diabetes’

Comedy Hour each day with the multi-talented Adele headlining on Sunday, following performances at comedy festivals all over the globe whilst regularly hitting the Best Jokes lists.

 

Minil Patel
‘Plant-Based/Vegan Diets for Athletes and Muscle Building’

Adigo Atabo
‘Micronutrient strategies to maximise muscle performance’

Dr Adigo Atabo is a plastic surgeon and software engineer turned nutrition medicine physician; a thought leader in nutrition medicine technology; on a mission to normalise ecosystem medicine by creating channels for navigating interconnectedness with ease; and Founder at Persomic, a data-driven nutrition therapy platform. Dr Atabo’s talk looks at food, energy production, exercise, and sleep as all important for building muscle strength.

 

Tom Ward
FeelGood Stage, Saturday

Comedian Tom Ward has appeared on Live at The Apollo, Roast Battle and The Stand Up Sketch Show as well as presenting the viral LAD Bible series In My Personal Space. He has supported Joe Lycett, Ricky Gervais and Jack Whitehall on tour and done four solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe, and is on stage at 4pm Saturday to entertain the Vegfest crowds!

 

Barbara Helen
FeelGood Stage, Sunday

Barbara has performed her songs at festivals and events all over the country and released her CD, “Vegan Eyes” in 2020. She has received wonderful feedback, verbally and emotionally. Album “One Voice” is the latest release, EP, “All about The Animals” and Singles, including , “One Voice for Regan” are now available from Spotify, Bandcamp, reverb nation and Soundcloud.
