A brand-new vegan event with a firm focus on fun & food comes to London this autumn for a 2-day fiesta of vegan cake and comedy at Kensington Town Hall on the weekend September 30th – October 1st 2023. With an expected 80 stalls, and an abundance of vegan food and plant based artisan creations, as well as fashion, lifestyle and body care, the show boasts an all-star line-up of vegan comedians as well as musicians, artists and authors for a celebration of all-things-creative and entertaining – but with a 100% vegan slant.
Tickets are limited and expected to be in high demand when the line-ups are announced in the summer and tickets go on sale, and the organisers are thrilled to be back to booking comedians and musicians and performing artists after such a long break. “We’ve been back with live events since the end of 2022, but its only now that we can fully dedicate a whole show to showcasing our growing band of vegan comedians, musicians, artists, authors and performers” enthuse the organisers, “and we are really happy about that. Its been tough all round within the events sector these last few years but especially for the performers – and its great to be back in full effect, and prioritising the entertainment.
“Kensington Town Hall has a long track record of hosting vegan events and is ideally suited for this new one, with a central location, excellent tube and bus connections and a big carpark underneath – as well as room for 80 stalls, 5 caterers, a bar and 2 stages running the whole weekend. ‘Visitors are in for a treat, with more vegan cake and comedy than is probably good for you – as well as a fabulous range of independent traders and individuals. London has missed a warm convivial light-hearted relaxed and super fun vegan weekend and the London Vegan Comedy Festival will put that to right, no doubt! And all being well, an annual event that is sure to be a sold out well ahead for both stalls and tickets.”
Budding vegan performers and comedians are encouraged to apply for a performance slot, with a fee and travel costs in place for all performers. Please visit the website to access the registration form. Tickets are on sale from the website in the summer.
