Vegan Party Conference – Livestream Episode 2 with Anita Krajnc (Plant Based Treaty) & Shireen Kassam (Plant Based Health Professionals UK)

The 2nd Episode in a series of 6 this summer and autumn in the run up to the inaugural Vegan Party Conference welcomes guests Anita Krajnc (Plant Based Treaty) & Shireen Kassam (Plant Based Health Professionals UK) in discussion with host & Conference organiser Tim Barford. The first episode (July 11th) was very much a focus on animal liberation, and the 2nd episode focuses on a shift to plant based food systems for environmental and health benefits – these being the 2 main focuses of the Vegan Party Conference, and explores some of the common ground in pursuit of both goals, as well as some of the potential barriers, and looks at the response to the climate crises and health crises from the broader vegan and animal rights movement, plus a brief look at language, human rights/animal rights, and moving beyond the welfare paradigm, 3 common themes running throughout the panels and livestreams.
