An Overview of the Event

The Vegan Party Conference features four stages dedicated to panels, workshops, and celebrations. Explore a variety of vegan food and products in our bustling market.

Panels: A Deep Dive into Key Issues

The main hall will host thought-provoking panel discussions on pressing topics. Highlights include:

• Moving Beyond the Welfare Paradigm: This panel will explore the limitations of welfare legislation and advocate for a rights-based approach.
• Language Matters: This panel will discuss the importance of language in our movement, identifying what’s useful and what’s not, and how to adopt more effective language for activism.
• Bringing an End to Animal Testing: This panel will provide an overview of the current state of animal experimentation in Great Britain and globally. It will discuss alternatives to animal testing, potential barriers, and the urgent need to end these harmful practices.

Workshops: Practical Skills and Insights

Workshops will be held in Rooms 1 and 2, offering a variety of topics. Highlights include:

• Meditation Workshops: Find inner peace and focus.
• Mental Health Workshop: Address the challenges of being vegan in a non-vegan world.
• Tackling Recidivism: Explore strategies to keep individuals vegan and understand the importance of this work.

Celebrations Stage: A Rejoicing Atmosphere
