Vegan food has always been the heart and soul of VegfestUK events. After all, the name itself hints at a “veg feast,” and what better way to bring our community together, than over a bowl of vegan mac n cheese, followed by a slice of vegan sweet tooth cake. And my, how far vegan cuisine has come! Today, we have incredible substitutes for virtually every animal product sold. At our market you will find both vegan substitutes, as well as whole food options. We’re proud to work with a plethora of talented hot food vendors who consistently amaze us with their culinary creativity.
At the Bristol Vegan Fayre on Saturday, April 12th, 2025, at Document, prepare your taste buds for an unforgettable journey. There will be a lineup of vendors that showcase the sheer diversity and deliciousness of vegan food.
Let’s start with Say Cheese, a vegan-founded company that has perfected the art of creamy vegan mac ‘n’ cheese. Their comforting bowls of cheesy goodness are a must-try. For a healthy and vibrant option, visit Gourmet Poke, a Bristol-based business serving up colourful and flavourful poke bowls packed with fresh ingredients.
If you have a sweet tooth, prepare to be blown away by Vegan Sweet Tooth. They’ve masterfully transformed classic Italian bakes and cakes into vegan delights, and their creations are truly exceptional. I’d love to get my hands on those recipes! And for a refreshing treat, don’t miss The Happy Cow Ice Cream, the UK’s first vegan Mr. Whippy truck, another Bristol gem.
Cheese lovers, rejoice! Sophie’s Delight, an award-winning, indie female-run business, specialises in artisanal vegan cheeses that are sure to impress. Then there’s Soy Ahoy, run by 100% vegan emos (their words, not mine!), offering a delightful array of salads, wraps, croissants, and cookies.
For the ultimate vegan doughnut experience, head to Golden Glaze Doughnuts. Their 100% vegan doughnuts are simply the best you’ll ever taste. And for a sweet treat that melts in your mouth, Slab Artisan Fudge will have you hooked with their incredible vegan fudge.
But that’s not all! We’re also thrilled to welcome a host of other fantastic vendors, including Gillie Foods, Brownins, Erim’s Artistry, Chiki Monkey, Alterna Market, Jam N Vegan, Anna Loka, Vherbalkitchen, Greek Vegan Deli, Rebelrox kitchen, and Chappers Cheesecake. Each of these businesses brings their unique flair to the table, offering a diverse range of flavours and cuisines.
