London Vegan Fayre returns to Kensington Town Hall for Festive Gathering

The London Vegan Fayre returns to Kensington Town Hall on Saturday December 6th for a day packed full of fun, food and festivities, celebrating all things vegan and plant based alongside an array of comedy, music and inspirational guests. With vegan events going back some 25 years at the Town Hall, this much-loved venue will once again play host to a core vegan community that knows how to party as much as making ethical and responsible consumer decisions.

‘The London Vegan Fayre is a really uplifting day packed full of great food and shopping, with an emphasis on entertainment and enjoyment’ state the organisers, ‘and the event really showcases the best of the vegan way of life. Vegans by nature are compassionate, considerate and kind and the event overflows with good vibes and a celebration of a growing way of life that respects animals, the environment and humans. Everyone is welcome at the show where many of us have shared values very much in line with the season of goodwill and generosity.’

Food is once again the big highlight, with an array of global street food caterers and artisan food providers including plant-based cheese samples and a massive array of cakes and sweet goods alongside a number of Christmas related items, as well as street food from several corners of the world. Once fed, there’s a selection of comedy and music to keep visitors entertained including the award-winning comedian Dawn Chorus (Lee Brace) alongside live appearances from Vegan Queen V and the newly founded Animal Rights Choir, plus some eye-catching celebrities on stage for some fireside chats. Downstairs there’s a whole programme of talks and demos including a vegan cheese demo and a talk on optimum nutrition for dogs and cats, and throughout the show there’s a variety of interesting stalls including educational charities and community interest companies alongside some terrific gifts, clothing, bodycare, makeup and accessories ensuring plenty of choice for vegans in the run up to the holiday season.

‘Veganism and interest in plant-based diets is growing in the UK still with an estimated one million vegans in the UK and many more eating pretty much plant based. The quality and variety in plant-based food has shifted exponentially and the London Vegan Fayre showcases some of the very best options available. Although an absolute haven for anyone vegan, the event is also a fabulous opportunity for people curious about plant-based diets to come and sample some of the very best, whilst meeting some truly inspirational and uplifting people within the vegan community. Times have been challenging for many people this year – the London Vegan Fayre presents a genuinely multicultural event that is grounded in fairness, justice, inclusivity and compassion and welcomes people from all walks of life. Everyone is welcome in the house.’
