Bristol Vegan Fayre June 20th 2026 – Visitors Feedback

Bristol Vegan Fayre took place at Document on June 20th 2026 with 70 stalls and just under 1000 people gathered for this mid-summer solstice festival celebrating all aspects of the vegan way of life, featuring 20 talks and presentations and 10 live performances and DJ’s over the day.

Most of the feedback for the event was very positive and many people enjoyed the day, with some useful suggestions for visitors experience improvement in the comments, and once again a number of people not yet vegan visited the event, with nearly everyone leaving with a positive impression of the vegan community along with many pledging to make positive changes to their lifestyle choices, including a number of visitors pledging to go vegan.

Bristol Vegan Fayre began in 2003 and ran until 2009 before returning in 2023 at our current venue Document. The leasehold on the venue is coming to an end and currently plans for 2027 have yet to be confirmed

Feedback From Visitors

Much of the feedback was appreciative and overall most visitors were happy, there were some re-occurring themes including better signage and more information about the talks and performance, and potentially better lighting in the Main Hall. There were a number of last minute cancellations at the show for various reasons which did impact slightly on the overall event, and there was some constructive feedback about use of AI at the event from stallholders and the event which we are revisiting.

‘’ I enjoyed every part of the fair, I enjoyed the activist talks, the entertainment, the performances, the stalls and stallholders, the delicious food options, chatting to the stall holders, trying delicious food, enjoying the talks, and the overall atmosphere. Every aspect was incredible, everyone created such a warm and positive atmosphere, thank you so much.

Would have liked a few more stalls selling vegan products other than food

It would’ve been great to have a board with the guest speaker line up and a short description or a few words about the talk.

It was good, was hoping for a few more vendors, the venue was a little dark inside. Enjoyed the speed dating and poetry although more upbeat always appreciated! Enjoyed the folk music outside too. The food was nice although some were a little on the pricey side.

I would include more about climate activism and information such as the People’s Emergency Briefing film. Many people are vegan firstly for the Planet.

Thanks for this event our third one since moving here from California 7/2025!! California has a lot to learn

I basically came for the vegan speed dating event, which was excellent 😊

The music in the courtyard was far too loud and booming. There should have been blackboards with what talks were on.

I wish there were more events like this 😊

I am very grateful to the organizers of the event

Fantastic selection of food and stalls. The talks were very interesting and it’s lovely being at a fully vegan event. The bar staff were amazing for creating a space for us to change our 6 month old too, very appreciated!
