Animal Aid are sponsoring the London Vegan Fayre for 2026, held at Kensington Town Halls on Saturday December 5th, at this much-loved venue that has seen vegan events staged going back several decades. Indeed, Animal Aid hosted one of the most celebrated vegan events in the history of the movement with the unique Christmas without Cruelty show that was held at Kensington Town Halls every year right up until the end of last decade and the onset of covid and lockdowns, and shared the venue with the long-running London Vegan Festival which ran from 1999 up until 2014.
‘We’re very happy to see Animal Aid return to this venue as sponsor for the London Vegan Fayre,’ state the Vegfest organisers ‘with an essential show of support that helps maintain this iconic event in the heart of London just before the festive holiday season commences. Vegan events like this have played a major part in the growth and development of the movement over the last 40 years and none more so than this venue which is steeped in vegan event history – not only with the previous Christmas Without Cruelty and London Vegan Festival events before covid but also more recently the London Vegan Comedy Festival and the Vegan Party Conference both staged at Kensington Town Halls, as well of course the London Vegan Fayre, occupying the traditional early December slot that has seen so many amazing events in years gone by’.
‘Animal Aid are celebrating their 50th anniversary in 2027 and continue to be at the forefront of campaigning and activism in the UK. Recent progress on banning snares and phasing out animal testing, as well as high profile campaigns to ban greyhound racing have kept Animal Aid right at the heart of significant achievements for animals whilst maintaining both an active, dedicated and engaging membership as well as a network of volunteers and activists, and more recently some very effective collaborations with like-minded groups. We’re thrilled to be welcoming such a hardworking, long-lasting and highly achieving group to Vegfest.’
“ Animal Aid are excited to be returning to The London Vegan Fayre 2026 and proud to be supporting the event as sponsors once again. It’s one of the events we look forward to most, bringing together an inspiring community dedicated to positive change for animals. For us, it’s a fantastic opportunity to connect with supporters, reach new audiences and be part of the energy and enthusiasm that make Vegfest such a special event year after year.’‘ adds Michelle Masterton-Smith, Head of Campaigns & Comms at Animal Aid.
In addition to a spacious stall at the show, Animal Aid will be hosting some talks and discussions at the show and welcoming their members free of charge to the event to join then in a pre- Christmas get-together.
The London Vegan Fayre spans 3 floors at the Town Hall and features up to 110 stalls, some 30 speakers over 2 talks rooms and a main stage for performance.
