Participants will observe examples of veganism and anti-speciesism in classic and modern literature, television, and film; learn how to interpret scientific journalism regarding food, environmental justice, and animals; and find out just what did the 2016 U.S. election teach us about social media content creation, distribution, and consumption (spoiler: vegans should take notes from the Russians)!
