Do your communications have the power to shape attitudes towards animal freedom? Are you using the best messaging strategies to touch hearts and minds?
In this session, Animal Think Tank will explore what narratives strategies made other freedom movements successful, and we’ll present a new narrative framework backed by public research and data-driven insight. From social progress to morality, and thoughtful dialogues around animals’ capabilities, you’ll understand how these themes can ignite empathy, reshape our interactions with other animals and change the narrative landscape for good.

Martin Fodor representing the Green Party & Katja Hornchen representing the Green Party.

Description: A chaired discussion where each panelist has the opportunity to talk about the following three questions.
Q1. Why do you support the Plant Based Treaty and how can plant-based living benefit Bristol?
Q2. What sort of projects could you envisage for Bristol to help people eat more plant-based food?
Q3. What do we need to do to get Bristol to endorse the Plant Based Treaty? People are worried about the cost of living crisis, but we must not also forget the climate crisis. How are these two crises connected, how do we make this a priority for the council and what can the audience do to help?

Among these awards included Best Actor, Best Comedy, Best Short, Best Web & New Media and Best Silent Film. Lee was also the winner of the British Comedy Guide Pro's Video Contest and was recently crowned The UK Pun Champion at The UK Pun Championships 2023!
He won Best Supporting Actor at The New York Film Awards for his role in multi-award-winning comedy, WHO IS ALICE which is on Amazon Prime, and more recently played nerdy receptionist Martin Harvester in BBC's Doctors, alongside comedian Joe Pasquale.
Lee Brace has been writing and performing comedy for over 20 years and became a fan-favourite as rubber-faced recluse and regular caller, 'Ross Feratu' and 'Gladys' on The Jon Holmes Show on Talk Radio and BBC Radio 2.
Lee performed his debut solo character show, 'A Night With Ross Feratu and Friends' during this year's Brighton Fringe and is now working on his next show, which he aims to perform next year.

The characterisation is great.” - Matt Lucas "Love him. Fantastic." - Zoe Ball "The greatest comedy thing since clowned bread!" - Jon Holmes (BBC Radio)
Lee has been vegan (for the animals) for 2.5 years and, when he's not writing his blog (aptly titled 'PLANT-BRACED', he enjoys writing poetry, short stories, sitcoms and online sketches.
In his spare time, Lee is also a keen amateur photographer and has been recognised by RANKIN (for his Sky Arts show), picked out by CHRIS PACKHAM (for his Self Isolating Bird Club Calendar) and selected by SUFFOLK WILDLIFE TRUST (winning first prize in their nature photography competition). He was also a Finalist (as well as 'Highly Commended') in the International Garden Photographer of the Year competition. Lee is also currently writing 3 children's books due for release in 2024.

A number of groups across the vegan, animal rights and climate movements have recently worked to join forces around campaigns and demands to show a stronger and more united front in the face of organised opposition to our goals. This talk goes through some of these examples, asks whether or not it is possible for so many different groups to say the same thing, and shows why the power of stories is our key tool in bringing an end to animal suffering and to tackle climate inaction.
