Animals Asia is devoted to ending bear bile farming and improving the welfare of animals across Asia. We promote compassion and respect for all animals and work to bring about long-term change.

We’re widely known for our work in ending the bear bile farming industry in Vietnam. We’ve rescued more than 700 bears from unimaginable suffering and care for them at our award-winning sanctuaries in China and Vietnam.

We also work to end the dog and cat meat trade, improve the welfare of companion animals, and campaign for better conditions for captive wildlife in zoos and safari parks. Through partnerships with governments, NGOs, veterinarians, educators and communities across Asia, we promote humane animal management, provide training and education, and help build a stronger animal welfare movement throughout the region.
