Pulling orangutans from the cliff edge of extinction.

When it comes to scale and impact, Borneo Orangutan Survival is the largest and the most effective orangutan rescue operation in the world. For over 30 years we have rescued around 3,000 orangutans including repatriations from Kuwait, Taiwan and Thailand. From our rehabilitation centres we have released over 1,000 orangutans back to their rainforest homes and established at least 3 new populations in the wild. Today, our work is helping to protect and rehabilitate biodiversity in 1 million hectares of Bornean rainforest. Borneo Orangutan Survival is a fully independent charity and 100% of net proceeds from this event go towards orangutan conservation.
