Dr Rebecca Jones – The Vegan Doctor

Vegan GP & Author

Dr Rebecca Jones is a GP, author and activist. As well as her medical training and lifestyle medicine certification, Rebecca has a postgraduate diploma in Clinical Nutrition. She has been writing The Vegan Doctor blog since 2017, and her articles have been featured in The Guardian, The Telegraph, i, and many other publications. Her first book, A Plant-Rich Life, was published in November 2025. Whilst becoming vegan was initially an ethical choice for the rights of animals, her reading and research has led her to the position of believing that veganism is essential to safeguard the future health of humanity as a whole, and to protect the earth and all of its inhabitants. Rebecca incorporates plant-based nutrition advice into her day-to-day encounters with NHS patients, and keeps an entirely plant-based household for her two young children.
