Duncan McNair is a prominent lawyer, animal welfare campaigner and author. He founded Save The Asian Elephants (STAE) in 2015 after witnessing extreme brutality to baby elephants in tourism in India. STAE now has the largest petition in history for any species, millions of supporters and has devised and driven historic new law through Parliament to the statute book in Sept 2023. Duncan was named UK Animal hero of the Year 2018. In 2023 STAE was named amongst the world’s Top 10 charities for the impact of its elephant work.
