Theatre as a platform for Animal and Climate Activism
Patch Plays Theatre Company stages new plays exploring animal rights, veganism and climate change. Through entertaining theatre we believe we can spark discussion and interest in our audience surrounding these important themes. We aim to educate and inspire discussion and change. Recently we performed our critically acclaimed comedy ‘Meat Cute’ at Edinburgh Fringe Festival as well as Children’s Musical ‘Birdie’s Adventures in the Animal Kingdom’ at Greenhouse Theatre 2023. Our next show is a drama ‘Blood On Your Hands’ that looks at the unheard victims of the slaughterhouse industry: it’s workers. This will play at Southwark Playhouse from Jan 17 to Feb 3, 2024.
