Paul Holroyd

Paul Holroyd

Vegan/animal rights poet

Paul stopped eating meat in 1985 and has been fully vegan since January 2020.
He wrote his first short poem after attending a protest outside MBR puppy breeding facility at Camp Beagle. It’s only since he decided to change his lifestyle and live full time in a van that more poems kept coming, now he has six self-published poetry books available, three vegan ones in the ‘GreenBeard’s Vegan Verse’ series and three in the ‘Poetry of Life’ series.
He has read and performed his poetry at many vegan and non-vegan events and a lot of his animal rights poems are directed at non-vegans, including himself and all of us before we were vegan.

The Role of Creativity in Driving Social Change

Join us for an enlightening and exciting panel discussion exploring the intersection of creativity and activism.

Titled “Creative Activism: The Role of Creativity in Driving Social Change,” this event will feature a diverse group of trailblazers redefining how artistic expression can challenge the status quo and drive meaningful social and political change.

Our panellists include the head of the UK’s first vegan theatre, renowned visual artists, and leading vegan writers.

They are all passionate activists who use their craft to challenge injustices and inspire transformation. They will share their unique experiences, revealing how they harness creativity to make an impact on tackling issues close to their hearts: animal rights, climate change, and our corrupted food systems.

The panel will be moderated by bestselling Rebel Vegan author Todd Sinclair, a writer who specializes in culture and social change, ensuring a thought-provoking and engaging conversation. Audience members will have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A session, asking questions and sharing their own perspectives on the role of creativity in driving change.

Whether you’re an artist, activist, or simply a passionate vegan who wants to understand the power of creative expression, this discussion promises to inspire and invigorate. Don’t miss this chance to engage with leading vegan voices and discover how you can contribute to the movement for a better world through creative activism.
