Pei Su is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ACTAsia, an international NGO established in 2006.
Originally from Taiwan, she has 30 years’ international experience in human well-being, animal welfare, veterinary education, wildlife legislation and environmental science.
Pei is a recognised authority on issues relating to China, including political and social aspects, the exploitation of wildlife, the impact of fur farming and the implications for human and animal well-being.
At the heart of her work is directing ACTAsia’s vision and mission through the award-winning Caring for Life Education (CFL) programme. Pei’s aim is to inspire people to understand and appreciate the world we share and to take responsibility for the protection and preservation of its inhabitants and resources.
She is a regular speaker at events around the world, and has written a book about her life, called Life of Pei.
