I used to struggle with my weight. I was an emotional eater, binging on my uncontrollable cravings – and I hated exercise. I had a terrible relationship with food – but more than that, I had a terrible relationship with myself.

 

After a bad divorce and moving country, I realised this could be a fresh start – to take control and put myself first. My period of healing began when I started researching the benefits of a plant-based lifestyle. I studied everything I could – reading books, watching YouTube videos and enrolling in webinars and courses.

 

This research changed everything. I made a commitment to wholefood plant-based living for good. Gone were my days of being a fish-filled carnivore – I was a hardcore herbivore for life! I lost over 40 pounds (18kg) – and kept it off. But what I gained was priceless. My mindset, confidence, and health improved in ways I couldn’t imagine. My energy levels were higher than ever, and I fell in love with the right food at last – and myself. I decided to dedicate myself to studying nutrition to share my discovery with others.
