Ruby is an ethical vegan, senior international lawyer, Chair of the Society of Mediators and a member of the Rights Network, and she has undertaken professional qualifications in plant-based human and pet nutrition .

Ruby co founded SHEVEGA in 2019 with a veterinary nutritionist to provide products and reliable nutritional information to support those transitioning their companion animals to a plant-based diet.

SHEVEGA was inspired by her companion animal, Bono, who thrived on a plant-based diet for 13 years before succumbing at the age of 15 years to a genetic predisposition. SHEVEGA products are also vegan society registered.

SHEVEGA’s vision is to empower pet guardians to make informed decisions on the importance of optimum nutrition for their companion animals. She also hosts SHEVEGA podcasts where she discusses topics with an array of speakers to inform, empower and educate audiences from around the world.
