My name is Stephanie Dominguez. I grew up in Switzerland but moved to the UK in 2006. A few years ago, I transitioned from a career as an artist, in the entertainment industry, to focus my passion on health and wellbeing by becoming a nutrition coach and fitness instructor. As I grew up I dealt with many health issues: from being very overweight, injury and seeing the effects of ill health both on myself and others. I became vegan in 2011, and over the years, I learnt how to adapt my nutrition and habits to sustain my goals as they changed and evolved. Through my transformations, I felt more confident than ever, energised and stronger about reaching my best self and optimum state of health. I also discovered a way to channel my creativity and passion for food towards nutrition and health. I created Nurtured Plate, an online plant-based nutrition coaching service, in the hopes to be able to be of service to others who need a helping hand also to reach the best version of themselves. Gaining knowledge from my experiences, and the skills I learnt, I want to create a platform and community to help people transition and thrive on a plant-based diet to become the heroes of their transformations.
