Artist / Filmmaker / Animal Rights Activist SPECIESISM.WTF

Interdisciplinary Artist and Filmmaker Stephanie Lane (SPECIESISM.WTF) began working as a solo artist in 2023, upon exiting her career in a filmmaking duo to use her skills and passion for the greater good. Stephanie’s collection is the first of its kind to utilise generative AI and modern technologies to focus solely on the theme of speciesism through performance art, large-scale billboard artwork and advertisements in the world.

By exploring the theme of speciesism, Stephanie aims to ignite a collective consciousness that recognizes the inherent worth of, and gives equal consideration to, nonhuman beings, regardless of their species. Her previous campaign, ‘The Milked Woman’, includes photography which has been exhibited in London, and a performance art piece which has been presented in four continents.

The Role of Creativity in Driving Social Change

Join us for an enlightening and exciting panel discussion exploring the intersection of creativity and activism.

Titled “Creative Activism: The Role of Creativity in Driving Social Change,” this event will feature a diverse group of trailblazers redefining how artistic expression can challenge the status quo and drive meaningful social and political change.

Our panellists include the head of the UK’s first vegan theatre, renowned visual artists, and leading vegan writers.

They are all passionate activists who use their craft to challenge injustices and inspire transformation. They will share their unique experiences, revealing how they harness creativity to make an impact on tackling issues close to their hearts: animal rights, climate change, and our corrupted food systems.

The panel will be moderated by bestselling Rebel Vegan author Todd Sinclair, a writer who specializes in culture and social change, ensuring a thought-provoking and engaging conversation. Audience members will have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A session, asking questions and sharing their own perspectives on the role of creativity in driving change.

Whether you’re an artist, activist, or simply a passionate vegan who wants to understand the power of creative expression, this discussion promises to inspire and invigorate. Don’t miss this chance to engage with leading vegan voices and discover how you can contribute to the movement for a better world through creative activism.
