Dr Ishani is excited to share her new book with you! This book is a handbook for vegan activists who may be struggling with burnout or mental health issues, as a vegan in a non-vegan world. Alongaide her work as an emergency GP, Ishani hosts sessions for activists from Protect The Wild, Animal Rising, Speciesism, AV and more. She hopes to allow you to remain healthy and happy on your vegan journey.

Managing tensions over the Christmas period
The holiday period can be a difficult time, filled with relatives that express frustrating views about veganism, politics, climate change (or that simply have irritating personalities.) Dr Ishani Rao, an NHS GP with a special interest in vegan activist mental health, facilitates an interactive discussion about how we can best manage tensions over Christmas, to protect our mental health yet remain effective vegan activists.
